WE’RE BAAAAACK!!!

Much like the poltergeist from the feature film Poltergeist 2, in person events are back! Because scheduling is scary enough, Silver Space is here to help. Behold, our virtual baby - The Events Calendar - revived by popular demand. Here you can find out when the next gallery opening is, where you can hear free artist talks, and even what you missed out on because you didn’t check the calendar like you should have in the first place. Shame!

If you have an exhibition, event, artist talk, opening, or something tangentially associated, email marinam@silverspacestl.com and we’ll do our best to get you on!

ALINGERING NOTE: in-person gatherings during covid

During these Quarantimes, we wish everyone the best health and happiness. We are proud to support local galleries, museums, and businesses who are working tirelessly to provide you enjoyable experiences and services. With that being said, we encourage everyone to take proper precautions and mindfulness when spending time in public spaces.

Be sure to visit each venue’s website for information on their COVID-19
business hours, guidelines, and mask policies.

If you are still unsure how to protect yourself and others, please visit the World Health Organization's website for more advice and updates on the COVID-19 outbreak.

KEYNOTE CONVERSATION
Brand Me: Mastermind with Keisha Mabry
In this mastermind, branding and networking expert Keisha Mabry will lead young professionals through a 5-step process to build their brands from scratch. Attendees will brainstorm their passions, brain-dump their purposes, and leave with a customized brand statement in preparation for the civic engagement, the nonprofit involvement, and the forging my path afternoon sessions.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS
Hyper-Local Politics
We know you don't have to be mayor to make a difference, but where do you start? This panel will highlight individuals who have gotten involved in their local government committees, councils, neighborhood associations etc. to help young professionals understand how they can flex their civic muscles.

Forging Your Own Path
Nowadays, career paths are rarely linear. We will hear from trail-blazers whose winding career paths have been driven by a personal mission, and perhaps have led to self-designed opportunities to serve an unmet need.

Nonprofit Involvement: Thinking Outside The Box
Finding a meaningful opportunity to give back can be harder than you'd think. Learn from leaders who have used their strengths to create opportunities for others through nonprofit involvement in order to help young professionals understand how they can do the same.
